SERVICES

Bone Density studies can detect early signs of osteoporosis. We offer the DEXA technique to measure the mineral content of the hip and spine, the areas where bone loss is most likely to occur.

CT or Computerized Tomography allows us to capture multiple cross-section images simultaneously. This technology provides high-resolution, thin slice images of internal structures in great detail.

Fluoroscopy is an x-ray procedure that uses real-time video images that are viewed on a monitor. Contrast material may also be ingested to enhance image quality.

Mammography services offered include screening and diagnostic exams. We utilize the most reliable technology to detect breast cancer in its early stages. We also use computer-aided detection devices to double-check diagnostic accuracy.

Nuclear Medicine uses a small amount of injected radioactive material to image increased metabolic activity throughout the body. We also offer nuclear cardiology to evaluate heart function.

MRI or Magnetic Resonance Imaging produces images of the body by employing computerized magnetic fields and radio waves. We currently offer both Open Air MRI and High-Field magnets to tailor the exam to a specific situation.

Ultrasound or sonography generates ultra-high frequency sound waves that pass through the body tissues and return to form a diagnostic image. We currently have the technology to offer abdominal, obstetric, breast, and vascular sonography.

X-Ray is a basic diagnostic tool and a very necessary part of the imaging field. Many diagnostic exams are performed utilizing the x-ray tube-and-film procedure.
